Frequently Asked Questions
Why do we charge an exchange fee?
This modest fee helps support the time, care, and attention to detail that go into every step of our process — from thoughtfully sorting and inspecting each item to ensuring it meets our quality standards. By doing so, we’re able to maintain a well-curated collection of pre-loved pieces that are clean, stylish, and ready to be loved again. It also allows us to continue offering a unique and sustainable shopping experience — one where every item has a story, and every purchase supports a more conscious way of living.

What items can I bring in to exchange or donate?
We accept baby and children's clothing in good, clean condition, from size 00000 up to size 10. All items must be:
- Free from stains, holes, mould, pilling, and strong odours
- Not excessively worn or stretched out
A simple guide: If you wouldn’t be happy to buy it yourself, it’s probably not eligible for store credit.
Please Note:
While we don’t offer store credit for certain items, we’re happy to accept them as donations. These include: School uniforms, Singlets, Bibs, Beanies & Hats, Socks and Reusable nappies
Your thoughtful donations help us support more families and reduce textile waste.
How are store credits calculated?
Credits are based on a combination of factors and we take the time to carefully evaluate each item by hand, considering everything from brand and condition to seasonal relevance and customer demand.
It is important to note that not every item will make it on our website or to our markets. Due to the volume of trades and donations we receive, it is simply not possible to keep everything. However, you will still receive credit for the items that meet our Exchange Expectations. Many of the items that we can’t keep are donated to local community groups and charities.
Heads up! A few things to know: There is no need to use your credit all at once, leftover credits will stay on your account and they never expire. Credits are not redeemable for cash. Credits cannot be used for your exchange fee
Our goal is to make the process as sustainable, fair and straightforward as possible.
What happens to the excess stock?
Not every item we receive through exchanges or donations ends up on our website or at our Markets – but is it meets our standards, you’ll still receive a credit!
Our mission is to keep quality clothing out of landfill and place it in the hands of families who truly need it. That’s why we regularly donate to trusted community initiatives and partner with organisations that help support families doing it tough.
We’re always looking for new ways to share the love and extend our support wherever it’s needed most.
